Join us for a seminar and book reception hosted by Bob Woodson, a Bay Creek resident and founder of the Woodson Center. Mr. Woodson is a frequent FOX News guest and contributor to the Wall Street Journal.
Bob Woodson will moderate a panel discussion on his new book, A Pathway to American Renewal: Red, White, and Black Vol II, with panelists Stephanie Deutsch, historian and author; Will Crossley, President of Piney Woods School (Mississippi); and Tevya Griffen, Founder & President of the Cape Charles Rosenwald School Restoration Initiative.
The panel will examine the significance of the Rosenwald schools and other historical institutions highlighted in the book, emphasizing the vital role they played in advancing freedom for all Americans during the era of segregation. The discussion will explore the core values that defined their success—self-determination and perseverance in the face of adversity—and how these principles offer valuable lessons for addressing today’s challenges and charting a path forward to rebuild and strengthen our nation.
